TBC Classic Leveling Guide

WoW leveling is a colossal challenge spanning hours of grinding to get to the top. That may sound a bit overwhelming, but don’t worry we’ve got you covered with the best tips to get you to 70. From Azeroth to Outland, SSE Gold has top tips to cover all you need to level up!

All of these tips are as inexpensive as possible. They are designed to get the most experience per hour in World of Warcraft. Everyone has busy lives, this list is created to get you to the epic raiding that WoW TBC Classic has to offer.

Rested Experience

Staring with the most basic step, rested experience. This is one of the biggest ways to gain experience even when you’re offline. Rested experience works while you are in a city for prolonged periods, or while you are offline.

Rested experience is represented by the experience bar turning from purple to blue. What this means is that you will receive double experience for each monster kill while you are rested.

The best way to capitalize on this is to set your hearthstone in any major city or inn in the zone you are questing in and log off in there. Logging off in any major city or inn will grant double-rested experience. There is no reason not to do this, as the bonuses are so strong it can even lead to skipping boring zones. All of this while being offline.

Relevant Level Questing

Be the correct level for the zone you’re in. If, for example, you’re in Westfall, make sure to be levels 14-22 and no higher. Doing quests in a zone like this will negatively affect your experience gain and waste your valuable time.

The same can be said about killing relevant level mobs. Here is a quick way of determining your experience:

●Gray Border - Too low level, grants 0 experience per kill
●Green Border - Lower level than the player and gives less experience (roughly 50% less)
●Orange/Yellow Border - Same or 1 level higher than the player level. (Grants 100% Experience)
●Red Skull - Too high level for the player, not recommended to fight. Only grants 100% experience.

Many zones have mobs that are easy to grind, they may have weak abilities or health. This is great to farm for experience or resources. Remember whilst farming these mobs if they go grey you will receive no experience.

Setting Your Hearthstone

As we said earlier, setting your hearthstone inside of inns or major cities is a great way to gain rested experience. This is also true for questing in the zones you’re in. Most zones will have a central hub. In this hub, there will be quests, and an inn usually. What you want to do is set your hearthstone to this inn while you run around and quest in this zone.

WoW is in love with the idea of making you go pick up something and then bring it back to the quest giver. This way you can use your hearthstone after completing all the quests to instantly go back to the central hub and hand in your quests. There is also the side benefit to getting rested experience when you log off.

Dungeons

Dungeons are the best way to gain experience and the best tip on this list. The dungeons of World of Warcraft are designed for some fun engaging content. Not only does this allow getting some great loot, but it also allows for some great experience gain.

Getting a group together for most dungeons is easy enough. Make friends throughout your leveling experience and ask them to join you for some dungeon runs. Dungeons by far are the greatest way to level, so spam them over and over again.

Great dungeons to spam are as follows:

●All of the Scarlet Monastery dungeons (Library, Chapel, Armory, and Graveyard).
●Zulfarak - Excellent mobs to farm with great gear.
●Gnomerigan - Try to find a guide through this dungeon
●All Outland Dungeons - These dungeons are great as they give you relevant reputation and experience

Zone Hopping

Zone hopping refers to when you’re questing and leveling in a specific zone, and switch to another mid-way through completion.

This serves two purposes. The first reason is that WoW puts mobs that are too high level for your quests (namely Stranglethorn) and it’s sometimes best to come back to that zone when you’re at an appropriate level. Secondly, it allows you to complete more relevant quests for the best-guaranteed experience.

Rapid Fire Tips

These aren’t the best tips on their own, but they are important to help you level. These tips are designed to help you persevere through level 70:

●Find a guild to help you with harder quests and dungeons
●Get a great playlist of your favorite leveling music
●Take regular breaks, it’s okay to not be 100% efficient all the time
●Go back to major towns every two levels for new skills
●Save gold for riding - Faster traveling means faster quest completion
●Get professions to help you with your leveling experience and income

In-Game Store

This method is one of those that are slightly more controversial. If you don’t have the time to take the 2-4 weeks to level your character, WoW has an option to boost. For 35 Euro (EU Servers) or 35 Dollars (NA Servers) you can boost your character to level 58.

This boost unlocks riding, some basic gear, and instantly makes your character level 58. This option was mostly intended for those who do not wish to level through classic. Rather it was designed to instantly catch up to the new content.

The reason it’s controversial is that most of the community believes it to be a toxic move from Blizzard. Either way, it’s an option and far more effective than any guide out there. This is one of those options you may choose, but it costs real money. This can be more effective however as it may take you longer than 2 months to grind out the leveling to level 70.

Boosting Through Dungeons

What this means is a high-level player that runs your party through dungeons that are relevant to your level. Finding boosts through dungeons is a great way to gain massive experience quickly. Most people sell dungeon runs at a cheap enough gold price to make it effective. If you can effectively make money in the game, you can also pay for these boosts to increase your level.
This may be difficult, however. Most new characters don’t make gold all that easily, and most runs are out of their price range. (Get some cheap TBC Gold now!) Usually, this is designed for alternate characters or if you find a cheap/generous price from a player.

Conclusion

Leveling in World of Warcraft TBC Classiccan be a long tiring but enjoyable experience. With all these tips you are guaranteed to level faster and meet that end game challenge.
