Lost Ark is the newest MMORPG to take the world by storm. It has been out since 2019 but only recently was released to the Western market (EU/NA). It features a top-down view - diablo style - of gameplay with the benefits of being an MMORPG. You can download it for free and try it whenever you want; there is no need for significant investments.

So, if that sounds like fun to you, let's get you to max level! We will break down this list with five essential tips for fast lost ark leveling and why it is essential. With no further adieu, let's get into the first one.

Skip this first tip if you want to enjoy the story and dialogue that Lost Ark offers. It can boost your time from 15 to 12 hours, significantly decreasing time. However, you will be sacrificing storytelling and potentially important information.

As we said before, if you want to enjoy the story, do the prologue. Skip it if you don’t care or have seen the story before. Skipping this prologue saves you up to 45 mins. If you’ve heard of the famous goggle vanity you get from completing the prologue - don’t fret, you can still get this on any character, and as long as you don’t open the box, those goggles can be used on any archetype you want. So, if you're trying to do a speed run to level 50, skip the prologue and all character dialogues to save time.

In any MMORPG, you want to be efficient with questing; in this guide, we will tell you exactly how to quest in Lost Ark until what level and what you should do to help you be efficient.

From level 1, you want to focus on the main questline. Scrap any ideas you may have had on doing side quests; there is no point in them till level 37. However, there is one exception: after you’ve saved Prideholme, you gain access to the quest, “Learning about Pets.” Do your pet quest and gain your first pet. That is the only exception to doing side quests, and the reason for this is because a pet increases your efficiency of looting, no more having to run over bodies to collect loot.

We don’t have to tell you twice that having a pet increases questing time. Once you’ve completed this, carry on with the main quest lines till you get to level 37.

Once you have reached level 49 with only 500 000 XP left, you can leave Arthentime for North Vern and complete that questline to level 50.

In general, in Lost Ark, you will want to not stop at every mob you run into for a quest or otherwise. You want to pull at least 3-5 mobs at a time. Lost Ark has designed a game that you can at least do area of effect damage no matter what class you play. We’re saying that you want to pull bigger groups for quests or side quests and slaughter them all at once, and because of your lovely pet, you will auto-loot and continue running to complete the quest.

Don’t sit on your points; you want to use them as effectively as possible, find a great AoE power, and level it till max level. Leveling one spell to max level may not be as helpful for your guide or build, but since you can always change your build later, spend all those points as they come in. Maxing out the strongest AoE ability will drop the time it takes to complete quests and run through dungeons and mobs.

Exactly what the title says, do dungeons on normal difficulty because you can solo it and not have to wait in queues or rely on weak teams and buffed enemies. You can always go back and do the dungeon on a greater difficulty later. Doing dungeons on normal difficulty allows you to finish quests faster and get you to max quicker in Lost Ark. Don’t worry about loot; quests and single dungeon runes will be enough to get you to 50.
