12 Rogue Runes in WoW Season of Discovery (Horde and Alliance)

Teldrassil (Go to Fel Rock, the cavern above Dolanaar in Teldrassil, and slay Lord Melenas, a level 8 satyr. He will have Rune of Mutilation, which you can learn by clicking on it.)

Horde: Durotar (Pick Pocket on Burning Blade orcs at the canyon north of Razor Hill until you loot a Note from Ba'so. Go to 51, 58 and find Ba'so to receive Rune of Mutilation. Right-click it to learn the rune.)

Tirisfal Glades (Pick Pocket on Captain Perrine, who is inside a tower in the center south of Tirisfal Glades, near Undercity. Talk to Jamie Nore in the town hall building at Brill to receive.

This rune gives you a ranged attack that can crit and stun your target. You will need to find Rune of Precision from a chest at the following locations:

Alliance: IronForge (52, 13)

Stormwind City (find the house at the end of Cutthroat Alley. Go upstairs. )

Teldrassil (Pick Pocket or kill Gnarlpine at Gnarlpine Hold until you get Gnarlpine Stash Key. Go to 37, 83.)

Horde: Orgrimmar(56, 45)

Tirisfal Glades (Pick Pocket on Vile Fin at the northern coast until you get a Shipwreck Cache Key. Find the chest at around 66.0, 25.5)

This rune gives you a whirlwind attack that hits all nearby enemies. You will need to find Rune of Blade Dance from a chest at the following locations:

Alliance: Darkshore (kill Stormscale at Cliffspring River Cave until you get Cliffspring Key. The chest is at the end of the cave.)

Loch Modan (Pick Pocket on Dark Iron Dwarves until you get a Dark Iron Lockbox. Make sure you have trained Lockpicking. )

Westfall (Pick Pocket on Defias at southwest to get an envelope. Open it to get a message and a key. Take the key to 41, 80, the back entrance of Deadmine.)

Horde: The Barrens (Pick Pocket on Southsea south of Ratchet to get  Buccaneer's Matchbox. Follow the path up to 62.0, 44.0. Locate the Gunpowder Keg inside the fenced-in area about 61.8, 45.8. Click it to make it explode.)

This rune gives you a finishing move that consumes your combo points and deals damage based on the number of poisons on your target. To get the rune, go to Durnholde Keep in Hillsbrad Foothills and buy a Hot Tip from Kris Legace, a vendor behind the building. Right-click the Hot Tip to get a map and a safe combination. Follow the river north to the Western Plaguelands and find a waterfall with a Rusty Safe at the bottom. Use the safe combination to open the safe and get the Envenom Rune.

This rune gives you a chance to deal extra damage with your off-hand weapon.

To get this rune, you must do three tasks for Grizzby in Ratchet, The Barrens (in the tavern on the south side, around 62, 39), and gather various items from different areas or the auction house.

Fish Oil: 24 Fish Oil, obtained from Murlocs and Naga starting at level 25. Frequent in Hillsbrad Foothills and Blackfathom Deeps.

• Dark Iron Ordinance: 20 Dark Iron Ordinance, looted from higher level Dark Iron Dwarves. Located among other places in Wetlands.

• Shredder Turbochargers: 16 Shredder Turbocharger, made by using Shredder Autosalvage Unit on Venture Co Shredders in Stonetalon Mountains. You can get the Shredder Autosalvage Unit from Engineering.

When you finish these tasks, Grizzby will offer you the Rune of Survival for 5 gold (Need WoW SoD gold? You can buy it at SSEGold), which you can learn by clicking on it.

This rune gives you a chance to apply a deadly poison to your target when you use a non-damaging poison.

At level 20, you will receive a mail from someone named C. Go to 47.1, 71.1 to open the chest and start the quest. Or you can learn Distract and Vanish at level 22 and skip the first quest for the Breaching Charge, and stealth to the courtyard and save the prisoner to open the gate and pick pocket Gemela and Gefell. Combine the keys and enter a safe place at the stables for a chest. Go back to the house you start the quest and turn it in. The next you are in the city, you will be able to receive another letter from C with the reward. Go to the house again to get the rune.

This rune gives you a melee attack that applies a concentrated dose of your non-lethal poison.

Go to Yorgen’s Farm in Duskwood (50, 73) and use Pick Pocket on to get the Engraved Gold Ring. Go to the Tranquil Gardens Cemetery and lockpick the chest in the chapel (81, 71) to get an Engraved Silver Ring. Combine them and kneel to the statue in the center of Raven Hill cemetery (19.9,45.5) and you will have the rune.

This rune gives you a chance to survive a fatal blow and heal yourself.

To get this rune, you need to turn in Waylaid Supplies until you reach Friendly reputation with the Azeroth Commerce Authority faction. Then you can purchase a Rune of Teasing from the Supply Officers in Darnassus, Ironforge, or Stormwind City for 2 gold. (Horde Durotar Supply and Logistics faction.)

This rune gives you a cleave attack that can generate combo points. The locations are:

Alliance: Darkshore(32.8, 37.1)

Loch Modan (46.4, 12.7 )

Westfall(Pick Pocket Defias Scout on the hill behind the inn)

Horde: Silverspine Forest(Use Sprint to jump to a small platform by standing on the bridge at the entrance of  Shadowfang Keep)

The Barrens (Jump tp a stable roof at Northwatch Hold)
