According to Blizzard, WoW SoD Phase 2 will release on February 8, 2024. This is the second phase of Season of Discovery, by which time new ways will be offered to explore and experience the game. Phase 2 will raise the level cap to 40, introduce a new raid version of the Gnomeregan instance, and the following:
• A possible PvP zone in Stranglethorn Vale with a fishing tournament.
• New quests, items, recipes, and achievements.
• New class abilities and talents, including capstone talents in talent trees.
• New armor types for hunters, shamans, paladins, and warriors.
• New class quests with unique rewards.
We all know that if we get good preparation for the new phrase, we get more benefits, such as:
• We can level up faster and easier by having the optimal flight paths, quests, and gear.
• We can improve our combat performance by having the best weapon skills, consumables, and world buffs.
• We can craft and sell valuable items by having the highest profession levels and recipes.
• We can unlock new abilities and rewards by having the highest reputations and PvP ranks.
Based on these, here we offer some general tips on what you can do now to prepare for SoD Phase 2:
• Level up all the classes you intend to play in Phase 2 to level 25. This will allow you to access the new quests, items, and abilities that will be available in Phase 2.
• Get as much raid gear as possible from Blackfathom Deeps. (There are Guides online about how to find the best items for your spec.
• Get your Warsong Reputation to at least Revered during Phase 1. This will unlock some powerful PvP runes and items in Phase 2, such as the Warsong Battle Tabard and the Warsong Battle Standard.
• Get Rank 3 in PvP. This will give you access to some useful PvP abilities and talents in Phase 2, such as the PvP trinket and the PvP rune.
• Level up your main professions to 150. This will allow you to craft some of the new SoD items and recipes in Phase 2, such as the Gnomish Death Ray and the Goblin Rocket Boots.
• Invest your gold in items that will be in high demand in Phase 2, such as materials for crafting, cooking, and first aid. You can use our WoW SoD Phase 2 Preparation Guide to find the best investments for Season of Discovery Phase 2.
• Level up your First Aid to 150. This will help you heal yourself and your allies in combat, especially in the new PvP zone in Stranglethorn Vale.

The last but important--Get Rich, which makes it much convenient for your future life in phrase 2. Making money after level 25 in SOD is quite easy. Effective ways include:
• Fishing: Fishing can be a profitable profession, as some fish can be used for cooking, alchemy, or quests. Some of the best fish to farm are Sagefish, Deviate Fish, and Oily Blackmouth. You can find them in various locations, such as Fenris Island, Barrens, Westfall, and Ratchet. You can also participate in the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza, a fishing tournament that will be added in Phase 2, and win prizes and gold.
• Crafting: Crafting can be another source of income, as you can make items that are in high demand, such as bags, potions, and gear. Some of the best professions for crafting are Tailoring, Alchemy, and Engineering. You can use your own materials or buy them from the Auction House. You can also sell your excess materials or recipes to other players.
• Questing: Questing can be a good way to make gold, as you can get rewards and loot from completing quests. You can also save some quests that involve killing or collecting items and turn them in when Phase 2 starts. This way, you can get a lot of XP and gold at once. Some of the best zones to do these quests are Hillsbrad Foothills and Southern Barrens.
• PvP: PvP can be a fun and rewarding way to make gold, as you can get honor, reputation, and loot from killing enemy players. You can also get runes and items from the Warsong Gulch vendors, which can enhance your PvP performance. You can also participate in the Ashenvale PvP event, which will be added in Phase 2, and get special mounts and rewards.
You can also buy WOW SOD gold from gold sellers such as SSEGOLD. Normally gold price goes up after a new release, if you want an easier start, just buy here. I hope these tips help you get better preparation for your adventure in SOD phrase 2.
