WoW Classic Season of Discovery is a new mode of WoW Classic that introduces some changes to the original game, such as new class abilities, talents, and rune engravings. As a druid, you can use rune engravings to enhance your abilities and customize your playstyle. There are different runes for each spec: Guardian, Feral, and Restoration. Fury of Stormrage

Requirement: need to be level 4 and have the Moonfire ability trained.

For Alliance, you will get the quest The Woodland Protector from Tarindrella at Shadowglen in Teldrassil. You will need to kill nearby Grell and Grellkin until one of them drops a Lunar Idol. Equip the idol in your relic slot and use Moonfire to kill six creatures while they are affected by the debuff. Then you can use the idol again to get the rune.

For Horde, you will get the quest Relics of the Tauren from Gart Mistrunner at Red Cloud Mesa in Mulgore. You will need to find a chest called Bristleback Loot Cache in Brambleblade Ravine at 61, 76. The chest will contain a Lunar Idol. Equip the idol in your relic slot and use Moonfire to kill six creatures while they are affected by the debuff. Then you can use the idol again to get the rune.

Living Seed

Requirement: need to be level 5 and have the Rejuvenation or Regrowth ability trained.

For Alliance, you will get the quest The Woodland Protector from Tarindrella at Shadowglen in Teldrassil. You will need to collect three Glade Flowers from around the zone. These are glowing purple flowers that can be found near trees or water. Combine the flowers to make a Glade Crown and use it on the Wooden Effigy at Starbreeze Village at 67, 58. This will summon a level 7 elite Unleashed Nature Spirit. Kill the spirit and loot the Rune of Natural Potential, which you can right-click to learn the rune.

For Horde, you will get the quest Relics of the Tauren from Gart Mistrunner at Red Cloud Mesa in Mulgore. You will need to collect three Prairie Flowers from around the zone. These are glowing yellow flowers that can be found near rocks or grass. Combine the flowers to make a Prairie Crown and use it on the Wooden Effigy at 37, 50. This will summon a level 7 elite Unleashed Nature Spirit. Kill the spirit and loot the Rune of Natural Potential, which you can right-click to learn the rune.

Survival of the Fittest

Requirement: need to be level 20 and go to Ratchet in The Barrens.

This is a neutral town, so both Horde and Alliance players can access it. There, you will find a vendor named Grizzby in the inn on the south side, around 62, 39. He will give you three quests to collect items for him:

• Fish Oil: 24 Fish Oil, found from Murlocs and Naga starting at level 25. Common in Hillsbrad Foothills and Blackfathom Deeps.

• Dark Iron Ordinance: 20 Dark Iron Ordinance, dropped by higher level Dark Iron Dwarves. Found among other places in Wetlands.

• Shredder Turbochargers: 16 Shredder Turbocharger, created by using Shredder Autosalvage Unit on Venture Co Shredders in Stonetalon Mountains. You can get the Shredder Autosalvage Unit from Engineering.

After you complete these quests, Grizzby will sell you the Rune of Survival for 5 gold, which you can right-click to learn the rune. (Hints: All these items can be bought from the Auction House.)

Wild Strikes

Requirement: need to be level 15 and go to Stonetalon Mountains.

There, you will need to kill Grimtotem Ruffians and Grimtotem Sorcerers until one of them drops an Idol of the Wild. Equip the idol in your relic slot and use it to heal 10 different beasts. You can do this by healing hunter pets, friendly druids, or yourself in animal form. After you heal 10 beasts, you can right-click the idol again to learn the rune.

Lacerate

Requirement: need to be level 12 and go to either Darkshore (Alliance) or The Barrens (Horde). You will need to kill some enemies until they drop an item that will lead you to the rune.

• For Alliance, you will need to get Crab Treats from Blackwood Furbolgs or fishing in Darkshore. Then you will need to use the treats on a Young Reef Crawler on the beach and get the rune from it.

• For Horde, you will need to get Magic Pumpkin Seeds from Defias Brotherhood members in Westfall. Then you will need to plant the seeds in a farm patch in Westfall and fight a Pumpkin Fiend that spawns and get the rune from it.

Mangle

Requirement: need to be level 10 and have the Bear Form ability trained.

Depending on your faction, you will need to kill a specific enemy and loot an item that will lead you to the rune:

• For Alliance, you will need to kill Rageclaw in central Teldrassil, around 46, 58. Loot him for an Idol of Ursine Rage. Equip the idol in your relic slot and keep your rage above 50 for 60 seconds while in Bear Form. Then you can right-click the idol to learn the rune.

• For Horde, you will need to kill Kuz in the cave at 41, 19 in Mulgore. Loot him for an Idol of Ursine Rage. Equip the idol in your relic slot and keep your rage above 50 for 60 seconds while in Bear Form. Then you can right-click the idol to learn the rune.

Sunfire

Requirement: need to be level 4 and have the Moonfire ability trained.

Depending on your faction, you will need to go to a different location and cast Moonfire on three stones to activate a chest that contains the rune:

• For Alliance, go to 53, 78 in Teldrassil and look for three Lunar Stones in a tree.

• For Horde, go to 35, 46 in Mulgore and look for three Rune Stones on the ground.

Wild Growth

Requirement: need to be level 25 and complete three trials of the owls in different zones:

• Ashenvale: Go to 87, 43 and activate the owl statue. Defeat three waves of ghosts and get the Symbol of the First Owl.

• Duskwood: Go to 50, 35 and get the Eyes of the Owl buff from the owl statue. Find and kill Agon the boar in Brightwood Grove and get the Symbol of the Second Owl.

• Hillsbrad Foothills: Go to 36, 75 and 53, 81 and click on the two owl statues within 2 minutes. Get the Symbol of the Third Owl.

After you have all three symbols, go to Moonglade and talk to Loganaar, the druid trainer at 52, 40. He will give you the Rune of Wild Growth, which you can right-click to learn.

Lifebloom

Requirement: need to be level 10 and have a partner who can heal you.

Depending on your faction, you will need to go to a different zone and find a corpse that will start a ritual to summon a spirit that drops the rune:

• For Alliance, go to Teldrassil and look for Adventurer's Remains at 32, 35. Click on the corpse and have your partner click on the portal that appears. Kill the Adventurer's Spirit and loot the Rune of Life.

• For Horde, go to The Barrens and enter the Venture Co. Mine at 61, 5. Look for a Ritual Stone at 63, 11 inside the mine. Click on the stone and have your partner click on the portal that appears. Kill the Venture Co. Spirit and loot the Rune of Life.

Savage Roar

Requirement: need to be level 18 and kill a specific bear that drops an item that will lead you to the rune.

• For Alliance, you need to kill Den Mother in a cave in Darkshore and loot a Ferocious Idol from her.

• For Horde, you need to kill Kuz in a cave in The Barrens and loot a Ferocious Idol from him.

After you get the idol, equip it in your relic slot and use it to deal bleed damage to 20 humanoid enemies with Rip or Rake in Cat Form. Then you can right-click the idol again to learn the rune.

Skull Bash

Requirement: need to be level 20 and have a friendly reputation with a certain faction.

• For Alliance, you need to have a friendly reputation with the Azeroth Commerce Authority (ACA). You can get this by turning in Waylaid Supplies to the Supply Officers in Darnassus, Ironforge, or Stormwind City. Then you can buy the Rune of Skull Bash from the same Supply Officers for 2 gold.

• For Horde, you need to have a friendly reputation with the Durotar Supply and Logistics (DSL). You can get this by turning in Waylaid Supplies to the Supply Officers in Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, or Undercity. Then you can buy the Rune of Skull Bash from the same Supply Officers for 2 gold.

Starsurge

Requirement: need to be level 20 and go to the Wetlands.

There, you will need to talk to a dwarf named Grugimdern at 35, 14 and get a Marshroom from him. Then, you will need to find a frog named Watya-Noi at 31, 18 and use the Marshroom to talk to him. He will give you the Rune of Stars, which you can right-click to learn the rune.
