Scholomance returns under MoP Classic's revamp as a level 90 Heroic dungeon, full of undead lore, necromantic traps, and challenging boss mechanics. With five diverse encounters and spooky atmosphere, this dungeon is perfect for players seeking loot, achievements, and challenge-mode prowess.

Dungeon Layout & Trash Strategy

The dungeon is linear, progressing from the Gate entrance through lecture halls to Gandling’s chamber.

• Trash mobs include plaguelands wraiths, undead scholars, and summoned test subjects.

• Tanks should kite melee adds, avoid pulling casters behind, and manage corpse explosions.

• Healers prepare for mixed damage and necrotic AoE bursts.

• DPS focus adds quickly and interrupt dangerous casts.

Use pillars for line-of-sight to minimize shout and cleave damage as you move boss to boss.

Boss 1 – Instructor Chillheart

Mechanics & Strategy:

• Ice Wall chase: A wall pushes toward the group—kill Chillheart before it catches the raid. Stay mobile and avoid ice puddles.

• Phase 2: Chillheart resurrects from her phylactery; destroy it quickly. Watch out for arcane bombs and spreading fires.

Boss 2 – Jandice Barov

• Tactics: Assign raid marker for the real Jandice. Interrupt Gravity Flux; kill fakes quickly to reduce arcane backlash.

Boss 3 – Rattlegore

Mechanics & Strategy:

• Stacks Rusting per melee hit—rising damage.

• Tanks kite to let stacks drop.
