Titan Regorged Time Server - Pre-Raid Tasks for Molten Core, Earn a Level 213 Final Ring!
The Molten Core raid in Titan Reforged: Time Server is set to open on December 4th, and players can dive into the 25-player mode without needing to complete any pre-raid tasks. However, players will still have the opportunity to complete the Fire Extinguishing Quest, which has been upgraded to Level 80. The reward for this quest includes a Level 213 Fire Resistance Ring. Additionally, Fire Mages and Demonology Warlocks will no longer face restrictions due to the Fire Immunity mechanic, and the T1 Sets have been rebalanced into new, more balanced groupings. Tank players are encouraged to reserve Titan Embers to exchange for Fire Resistance gear.
Molten Core Raid - No Pre-Quests Needed for Level 80 Characters
In World of Warcraft: Time Server, the Molten Core raid will be available in 25-player mode. Unlike previous expansions, level 80 characters will not need to complete any pre-raid quests to access the raid. By simply speaking to Lothos Riftwaker, an NPC located in Blackrock Mountain, players will be teleported directly to the Molten Core raid.
Fire Extinguishing Quest - A New Twist on an Old Classic
While players won’t need to complete the Fire Extinguishing Quest to summon Boss #9, Majordomo Executus, the quest is still available in Titan Reforged: Time Server. Players will find 4 Level 213 Fire Resistance Rings in the database, including Tidal Loop and Ocean's Breeze — upgraded versions of the physical and spellcasting Fire Resistance Rings awarded from the level 60 Firefighting quest. Players speculate that these Level 213 Fire Resistance Rings may be the final reward for completing the Firefighting quest in the Time Server.
Starting Point for Fire Extinguishing Quest
The Fire Extinguishing Quest in Titan Reforged: Time Server begins on a small island in the southeast corner of Azshara (79, 74) from Duke Hydraxis The starting quest has been updated from level 60’s “Stormers and Rumblers” to “Great Stormers and Rumblers.” Players must travel to the northwest corner of Silithus and defeat 15 Large Dust Storms and 15 Large Rumblers to complete the quest. Because many players will be doing this quest, it is recommended to form a group. Players will notice that these quest mobs are now level 80, meaning there may be more changes to this quest down the line.
After completing the task, players will return to the small island in Azshara to accept the follow-up quest titled "Molten Core." This step can only be completed after the Molten Core raid opens on December 4th. Once the quest is completed, players will reach Honored reputation with the Hydraxian Waterlords, allowing them to accept the final part of the quest, "Hands of the Enemy," where they will need to defeat 4 Molten Core bosses to earn the Level 213 Fire Resistance Ring.
Fire Resistance Gear - How to Get Yours
In addition to the Level 213 Fire Resistance rings, players can purchase Level 200 Epic Fire Resistance gear at the Dalaran Sunset Square, including Cloaks, Bracers, Gloves, Boots, Helmets, and Pants — a total of 6 pieces. Blizzard has designed Fire Resistance gear for Tanks, Healers, and DPS roles, but since the Molten Core raid has not yet opened, players are unsure how much Fire Resistance gear will be required for progression.
For Tank players, it is recommended to reserve enough Titan Embers to exchange for at least 3 pieces of Fire Resistance gear. DPS and Healers should be more flexible and can always use Titan Embers from the next week’s reset to get gear if needed.
T1 Set - Balanced Profession Groupings
The T1 Set for Titan Reforged: Time Server is now divided into specific profession groupings:
-
“Death Knight, Warlock, Druid”
-
“Holy Paladin, Rogue, Priest, Shaman”
-
“Warrior, Hunter, Mage, Monk”
This is the first time players have seen such a professional grouping for the T1 set. It appears to be based on the distribution of classes in level 80, with the goal of ensuring balanced numbers of players in each group. Players can visit the Dalaran The Eventide near the Waterlords to check out the attributes and set bonuses for each profession's T1 set.
No Fire Immunity Bosses in Time Server Molten Core
In World of Warcraft's level 60 Molten Core raid, many bosses were immune to Fire damage, which made it difficult for Fire Mages and other DPS classes to contribute effectively. However, in the Time Server, the mechanics of Molten Core will be adjusted to the level 80 framework. This means Fire Mages, Demonology Warlocks, and Enhancement Shamans can rest assured that there will be no Fire Immunity bosses preventing them from playing their roles effectively.
