FFXIV Raiding Guide

Welcome to another FFXIV Guide. Today I will be showing you how to construct railings for your furniture, most importantly your furniture lofts.
Method 1
There are now two ways to properly accomplish it, and this is patch 4.6. I think one way to go about it is to make use of these wooden exhibits and you have the ability to create these at varying heights, so if we leave a tabletop or countertop placement enabled, you can put them just on the top.
However, if you notice your characters really high to that, and if you have anything on the other side of these railings, it's kind of awkward because it's right in your eyes and railings, because it's right in your eyes, typically aren't that high you know you want to prevent someone from jumping somewhere they shouldn't so instead we can let's just place this and we're going to open our subcommand menu and disable the counter top placement you'll notice these are a lot lower which is fine if you're like a potato aka Lala film but I mean it's not good if you're trying to prevent someone from jumping somewhere they shouldn't.
Because it's possible that some people will still object to it being set so low, what we're going to do instead is simply grab this ticket over here, and I'm going to put two deposits down as a point of reference. I assume what we're going to do is drag this whole thing like so now it can't be lower than this so if we just grab it and pull it, that should do the trick.
It's just floating your trick to floating tabletop items as you can see they didn't snap down and we've got like a decent comparative height for railings. I'd say that's a pretty good height for railings, and we just disabled counter placement by clicking on it and then cancelling the action. Same thing with making sure that the countertop is disabled by clicking on it and then cancelling the action railings, which is completely acceptable.
This also works if you want to float it, so for example or if you even have one of these little blobs as an example, for example, we're just going to put that there we're going to reenact our placement so this snaps onto the shelf like it should I bring this entire stage panel over here we go.
From a first-person perspective, I want you all to be able to see what I'm doing, and if you've been paying attention, you'll have noticed that I'm positioning this exactly so that the bottom of these are simply hidden like this, and then we'll select it. disable counter placement, float it and click on it to cancel the previous click on it. You don't need to rotate the things on the tabletop because they're not moving.
As you will see these are a little bit higher but the bottoms are effectively hidden and they're deep enough for they shouldn't snap to the top of the wooden loft as a tabletop item you will have these railings now these are the plate if this isn't the only way to do this it the plate. licenced ok so as you can see these are a little bit higher but the bottoms are effectively hidden and they're deep enough for they shouldn't snap to the
I'm going to go ahead and put these in storage because this is going to be the easiest way to deal with these but the railings for these are also considerably below if anything there would be more pleasing and aesthetic than anything else.
Method 2
Another choice we have is to put this back and we can actually use these hanging planter shelves so I'm going to go ahead and put these in storage because this is going to be the easiest way to deal with these.

So we are going to grab one actually what is renewable counterplay snow before we do that okay grabbing one out of storage you notice how it turns purple so we shouldn't be able to place it here but we can because it's from storage by opening the subcommand menu in his employees we are going to grab another one now you notice how it turns purple so we shouldn't be able to place it here but we can because it's from storage we are going to grab another one now you notice how it turns purple so we might find the strings of this thing kind of annoying, but I personally don't really care about it.
They're well enough hidden that it's not that annoying. Again, to float a wall-mounted item on the tabletop we just disabled counter placement and clicked on it to cancel. As you can see, we now have a very cute aesthetic railing, and you can also place these on the floor.
But keep in mind that you're going to have to like figure out how you want them free place so if we grab them from storage right we're going to want to if you want them facing a different direction on life in doodoos, but like push it up against the wall to get it to change directions but in this case, floor but keep in mind that you're going to have to like figure out how you want them floor but keep in mind that you're going to have case let's make your railing over here in the front door, so I'm just going to set that right there. case let's make your railing over here in the front entrance. Okay, so now you can see that we have these adorable miniature railings for indoor gardens. These are perfect for the space.
Take into consideration, however, that if you do this on a multi-floor system, the plants will show on the floor below it, so if you had a basement and you walked down the stairs, you would be able to see the wall hanging plants, like the actual plants and themselves hanging out in your ceiling, so that could create some potential problems when using this kind of railing.
However, it is much better to use this railing with a thick curtain or something like the troop stage so that you don't see any of those plants hanging out; however, if you do want that really lovely plant aesthetic railing very easily; it just depends on how you want these fine, like Orion, so we're going to take these storage containers.
Get this so that you can see what's going to happen if I put it in this spot show but you know that some people might want that, and that's totally okay alright so it's not waiting we're trying we're just going to disable this, and we have this loft platform with these really pretty plants hanging off of it that doubles as a railing.
Conclusion
