ESO

November 2026 has several reasons for ESO players to return to Tamriel. The Witches Festival is entering its final days, Markarth is becoming part of the base game, and a new Golden Pursuits campaign brings fresh rewards. PvP players can also look forward to the return of Whitestrake's Mayhem on November 12.

With new content to explore, you may also need extra gold for gear, crafting materials, and other essentials. If you want to spend less time farming currency, check out SSEGold's ESO Gold. If you prefer earning gold through gameplay, this ESO Gold farming guide covers ways to build your balance.

November 1-4: Final Days of the Witches Festival

The Witches Festival ends on November 4. This is your last chance to enjoy bonus XP and collect the event's rewards before it closes.

The 2026 collectible lineup includes:

  • Grotto of Desires: The first fragment for the Sanguine-themed home.

  • Roseblood Bat: Three fragments to unlock the pet.

  • Roseblood Wings Recall: Three fragments for the customized recall action.

  • Thorn's Bite Withersteed: Three fragments for the mount.

To join the event, complete the introductory quest, The Witchmother's Bargain, through the in-game Crown Store or at Olyve's Brewery. Returning players who completed the quest in a previous year can use the Witchmother's Whistle instead.

Player tip: Check your collectible fragments before the event ends. If you are missing a piece, prioritize it rather than leaving everything until the final day.

November 9: Markarth DLC Becomes Free

One of November's biggest changes is the Markarth DLC joining the ESO base game on November 9.

Players will be able to explore the Reach and experience its storyline without purchasing Markarth separately. The DLC completes the Dark Heart of Skyrim storyline, making this a good opportunity for anyone who has not explored the region.

This follows the October 21 addition of the Greymoor Chapter and Wolfhunter DLC to the base game. More Skyrim content is now accessible without separate DLC purchases.

November 9-December 2: Return to Western Skyrim Golden Pursuits

The Return to Western Skyrim Golden Pursuits campaign starts on November 9 and runs through December 2.

Players can complete activities while exploring Skyrim to earn rewards, including:

  • A new pet

  • A new mount

  • Antiquities leads

The Antiquities system is now available to all players, so more of the community can participate in this campaign.

Check the in-game Golden Pursuits menu after launch for the individual tasks and reward requirements. If you enjoy collecting cosmetics or exploring Skyrim, this is one of the month's activities worth prioritizing.

November 12: Whitestrake's Mayhem Returns

Whitestrake's Mayhem returns on November 12 in a new format.

The PvP event is a good opportunity to jump back into competitive activities across Tamriel. If you have not played PvP recently, take some time to check your gear, skills, and consumables before joining the action.

The return date has been announced, but players should follow the official event announcement for the complete schedule and reward details.

November Crown Store Showcase

The November Crown Store Showcase was published on October 29, previewing new and returning items scheduled to appear during the month.

Players interested in mounts, pets, cosmetics, and other collectibles should check the official November Crown Store Showcase for the full selection and availability details.

Remember that some Crown Store items may only be available for a limited time.

What Should ESO Players Prioritize in November?

If you do not want to miss anything important, follow this simple order:

  1. Finish the Witches Festival: Collect remaining rewards before November 4.

  2. Explore Markarth: The DLC becomes free on November 9.

  3. Complete Golden Pursuits: Work toward the pet, mount, and Antiquities leads before December 2.

  4. Prepare for PvP: Whitestrake's Mayhem returns on November 12.

  5. Check the Crown Store: Review the November Showcase for limited-time collectibles.

The ESO November 2026 calendar offers a mix of seasonal rewards, newly accessible content, and PvP activities. Finish the Witches Festival first, then take advantage of the free Markarth DLC and Return to Western Skyrim Golden Pursuits. PvP players should also keep November 12 in mind for Whitestrake's Mayhem.
