Dune: Awakening's Base Restoration Tool Has Finally Arrived—Plus Big Storage and More!

Exciting news for all Dune: Awakening players! The latest patch (1.2.30.0) has just dropped, bringing with it the highly anticipated Base Restoration Tool, new utilities, and an incredible free furniture pack! If you’ve been waiting to tweak your base or make big changes, this patch has something special for you.

The New Base Restoration Tool: Move Your Base with Ease

The Base Restoration Tool is one of the standout features of this update. Previously delayed, it’s finally here and promises to revolutionize how you manage your base. With this tool, players can now pick up and move their Hagga Basin base anywhere they choose. Whether you’re returning from a break or switching servers, this tool makes it easier than ever to keep your base intact.

Here’s how it works:

• Only the full owner of the base can move it.

• The cooldown period for moving your base is one week, so you can’t do it too frequently.

• Some things won’t be saved during the move, like permissions and vehicles, but most other aspects, including durability, will be carried over.

• Advanced Sub-Fiefs can’t be placed in the Hagga Basin South (the starting area), so make sure to plan accordingly.

While the tool is a huge convenience, keep in mind that the ground placement restrictions for items still apply, and the tool doesn’t offer a complete immunity from the usual durability issues (like that faulty pillar we’ve all experienced!).

Big Storage with the Ornithopter Cargo Container

Another fantastic addition is the ornithopter cargo container, which lets you carry large shipments of items using the cargo ornithopter. This means fewer trips for hauling massive amounts of goods, making it much easier to gather and transport your resources.

Along with this, there’s now a handy “unstuck vehicle” button, which should save you from those frustrating moments when your vehicle gets stuck in the sand.

Free Furniture Pack for Players

Funcom is celebrating the update with a free furniture pack available for all players via Steam. This generous pack includes:

• Miniature figures for your base,

• A strategy table to show off those miniatures,

• A holographic tree to spruce up your space,

• Two weapon skins to customize your gear.
