Diablo IV: Top 10 Must-Know Tips for Beginners
Although the Diablo IV official game release may still be a few weeks away, the beta version has already welcomed all kinds of action RPG players eager to get the first taste of the new game from the Diablo franchise. This time Sanctuary needs your help to face the powerful evil of Mephisto’s daughter, Lilith. To make your Diablo IV experience even smoother, we bring you the best ten tips and tricks to get the most out of the gameplay, may you are a Diablo veteran or a first-time player. We also provide our services with great deals on Diablo IV gold and boosts for various games in our store.

If you wish to embark on the Diablo IV journey, there are things you should know to enjoy your time. The first step is to pick the right class for your Diablo adventure. If you prefer to keep your distance on the battlefield, you might be interested in classes such as Sorcerer or Rogue. On the other hand, if you enjoy some melee action, Barbarian sounds like a plausible option.
Respeccing the Skill Tree
Once you find the class that best suits your playstyle and you are getting a hold of your character, we recommend experimenting with your build to help you figure out what works for you the best, as you will find that respeccing your Skill Tree is free of charge if your character is below level 15, however, after that the cost for respeccing the Skills scales with the level of the character.
While changing your Skills, you can either opt to wipe the Skill Tree completely by choosing the option “Refund All” at the bottom of the Skill Tree or to erase and reassign individual skills by right-clicking on the particular Skill you desire to change.
Fastest Way to Level Up
Although the main quest line will bring you an understanding of the story and help you to dive deeper into Diablo IV’s world, the quickest way to level up is through killing a bunch of enemies. A great way to farm kills is either to run Dungeons with your friends or to complete Local Events.
Tip: You can recognize Local Events as a red circle on your minimap.

Weapon Damage Priority
There are many vital stats and defensive increases in Diablo IV that are incorporated into the gear you can get. However, when it comes to considering which Weapon stats to favor, it is the Attack Damage that you should select above all. Weapon Attack Damage enhances the damage you deal while melee hitting or casting spells. Put simply, the higher your Weapon Attack Damage is, the more damage you deal.
Forced Movement
This perk will be useful for all keyboard users playing Diablo IV as they can bind their key to force the character to perform a movement. If you wonder what exactly Forced Movement is, think about all the scenarios where your character was stuck interacting with enemies or random NPCs while you were trying to reach a different destination. By using forced movement, your character will ignore all these interactions and move where you want. You can assign your Forced Movement to any specific key in Controls within Menu Options of the game, right below Skill Slot keybinds.
Tip: You can use Forced Movement to dodge environmental hazards created by certain bosses during the battle.

Campfire Boost
One way to improve the amount of XP is through interacting with campfires and obtaining the “Inner Peace” buff, which gives you additional experience for every defeated enemy.
Tip: If you stay near the campfire long enough, you can stack this buff up to fifteen times and increase the experience amount from killing even more.
Leaving and Resetting Dungeons
In Diablo IV, you do not have to retrace your steps to the entrance in order to leave the dungeon. Instead, you can leave by clicking on the dungeon entrance disguised as a small blue star on the world map. This will teleport you right in front of the dungeon entrance. You can also leave the dungeon through a command in the Emote menu.
In case you would like to farm a dungeon and you need to reset the instance, you can do so in the Quest Journal. The button to reset the dungeon is situated at the bottom of the Quest Journal menu.

Cursed Shrines, Chests, and Healing Wells
While in the dungeon, players will likely encounter cursed objects, such as Shrines and Chests. Interacting with them will activate a Local Event in the form of an enemy flood. In the end, you can look forward to various rewards. Apart from Chest and Shrines, you may run into cursed Healing Wells that are again activated upon interaction. We encourage you to interact with all Shrines, Chests, and Healing Wells, for the cursed Local Events may bring you all sorts of limited loot.
Town Portals
Similarly to other RPG games, Diablo IV operates with limited bag space. Instead of selecting what loot to leave behind, after unlocking various Waypoints, you can use the Town Portal feature to teleport your character into the nearest town, where you can get rid of extra weight by selling or dismantling. If you stay within the town walls, you can use the Portal to teleport you back to your original location.
Tip: While playing in a group, there will be a durable Portal in the town for each of your members to use in case they want to teleport to the location of their party members.

Potion Upgrading
At level 10, the game introduces you to the Alchemist and allows you to craft and upgrade your first potions and elixirs. Although no follow-up quest would remind you to revisit the Alchemist’s shop, as you level up, you are allowed to upgrade your potions and elixirs to more powerful ones. Always remember to check in with the town's Alchemist for these upgrades.
Tip: If you are looking for an additional Experience buff, glance at the Elixir section. Some of the elixirs can also grant you an increase of gained Experience.
Salvaging and Transmogrifying
Diablo IV also possesses a transmogrifying feature in the form of a Wardrobe next to the Stash in Kyovashad. By interacting with the Wardrobe, you can customize your character's appearance.
You can also Salvage armor pieces at the Blacksmith and gather needed material for future crafts or upgrades of your armor or weapon.
Tip: You can upgrade your gear up to four times, resulting in a great increase in the item’s stats.
