The Ultimate Genshin Impact Beginner's guide

Welcome to This Genshin Impact Beginners guide where we will share our own experiences and some insider tips that will make your game a bit more fun and progressive at the same time. In this guide, you will also get some do and don’t, which we really wish someone had told us when we were starting.

So without wasting any more time, let’s dive into the matter. Starting with the first thing we all do in a game when we start playing it. I know exploring the game and map is fun but you must…

Do the quests

Genshin Impact's open universe is packed with mysteries, puzzles, mini-games, and bosses. You must accomplish tasks to unlock new content. Genshin's primary Archon quest gets you to Inazuma, as do the Dragonspine questline and Peak of Vindagnyr domain.

Other quests, like Seirai Stormchasers in Inazuma or Orobashi's Legacy on Yashiori Island, make it easier to explore new places by removing environmental concerns like Balethunder or lightning storms. If there's a new place, miHoYo has probably added a questline to introduce you to it. Quests increase your adventure rank, unlocking additional features.

Got Sigils? Spend Them

It's simple to overlook Sigils' existence. They're a form of currency in that part of the world, and if you're anything like me, you're hoarding them for no good reason. We need to put a stop to that.

Both the Mondstadt and Liyue sigil shops provide a limited supply of ascension materials, mora, weapon blueprints, and constellations for the Traveller. Don't be crazy about collecting sigils like I am.

There is no sigil shop in Inazuma, but there is the Sacred Sakura. The electrogram you start with will be upgraded if you donate sigils there, letting you pass higher-level barriers and discover more of the islands.

The Crown of Insight, like the Frost Bearing Tree in Dragonspine, is a very rare substance necessary to reach the maximum level of combat talents, and it can only be obtained from a select few locations.

Use Map correctly

There are many mysteries to solve in Teyvat, but every once in a while you'll encounter one that defies explanation. It's possible that you're lacking the necessary skill, stat boost, or brain power to solve the puzzle. Pin the location on your map for whatever purpose you need to remember it for later.

These pins can also be used to mark the locations of rare resources, such as character ascension materials so that players can return to them after the 48-hour respawn period. There's no use in not using all 99 possible pins if you're going to be laying them down.

Build your Character and Party

Genshin Impact's combat revolves around elemental abilities and combining them to freeze, melt, or electrocute adversaries. How you create and achieve these reactions depends on how you employ your party's elemental skill, burst, and strikes.

You must also know how to establish party characters. Every good team must have a healer, a damage dealer, and some support, such as shields, attack boosts, or Anemo-style reactions. You merely need to consider the character's function in your group when choosing a weapon and artefact set. Reading about their talents might help you decide which stats to prioritise.

While artefacts have consistent set-based powers, they don't necessarily offer the most helpful attributes. It's best to invest in five-star, attack-based levelling artefacts. Weapons are easier to choose than artefacts; just pick one that fits your character's role.

Know Where to Invest

Genshin Impact has a daily resin cap that can be problematic because when characters level up they require more and more resin to claim prizes like experience goods and ascension materials. (We got plenty of cheap Genshin Impact Account, check them out now! )

If you want to continue levelling your characters past level 60, you'll have to spend a lot of time grinding.

If you try to level every new character you obtain, things will get even worse. This is why it's recommended that you put the bulk of your energy into making your preferred team as strong as possible.

However, if you don't mind spending some time grinding, you're free to create as many characters as you'd like. In order to retrieve more and experience goods from Ley Line Overflows, as well as character ascension materials from killing bosses, the resin is the only major obstacle.

There's no reason to feel inconvenienced by having two teams on hand, as the later levels of the Spiral Abyss necessitate a cast of at least eight reliable individuals. After all, Genshin is about amassing a cast of unique characters, and you'll need to level them up to your current world's level before you can put them to any practical use.

You can Play on the easy world

The level of the environment affects the strength of foes, the toughness of bosses, and the type of loot they drop in Genshin Impact. However, because this depends on the adventure's rating rather than your characters' real levels, the challenge may come as a surprise.

If things are getting too difficult, go to the game's main menu and select "World Level" to drop them by one. Combating against foes and bosses will become less challenging, but be aware that this will also reduce the likelihood of loot drops.

There are a total of eight world levels, and you can decide for yourself whether you want things to get harder by completing a quest to increase your adventure rank from 25 to 35, 45 to 50, or even 50 to the maximum.

When your character's level reaches the maximum allowed by your world level, either you upgrade to a higher world level or continue earning adventure rank until you're ready to upgrade.

Retreat and Evade

Genshin Impact's food is a potent weapon, despite the fact that cooking is something of a novelty in the game. Eating is one of the few ways to restore health, and it can also boost stats, provide protection from status effects like the cold in Dragonspine, and heal you outright if you've taken enough damage.

Having a well-stocked pantry and a repertoire of recipes from Teyvat's dining establishments is essential. Even though expeditions are the best way to produce ingredients, you can get meat from Draff in Springvale during the day, and a good site to hunt boar is to the east of Stormterror's Lair.

Use Cooking to the fullest

Although Genshin Impact lacks a dodging or rolling feature, a sprint can be used to quickly avoid harm if the timing is right. Although difficult to master, this is a highly valuable ability, especially when facing up against Stormterror or Azhdaha in the Trounce Domain.

Since you require stamina to unleash your charged attacks, it's best to conserve it as much as possible by tapping sprint instead of holding it down during the battle. Statues of the seven can be upgraded to give you more strength in each area.

Conclusion

Alright, pals, that’s it. I hope you liked the guide and got a lot of value out of it. See you soon. Till then, good bye!
