New Zone: Isle of Thunder

The long-awaited Isle of Thunder is now accessible in MoP Classic, bringing fresh questlines, daily hubs, and events! Players will join forces with the Kirin Tor Offensive and Sunreaver Onslaught factions to assault Emperor Lei Shen’s island stronghold. Engage in PvE or PvP quests, and unlock special rewards including powerful Mogu artifacts and a new mount.

Unlock the Lightning Forge and forge raid-worthy items and classic weapons from the past. PvP quests allow you to challenge opposing players for reputation points, adding a new dynamic to your journey!

Progression through the Isle will unlock more content each week, including a new outdoor raid boss: Nalak, the Storm Lord. Don’t miss the opportunity to loot chests full of epic gear in the Treasure Room!

New Raid: Throne of Thunder

Step into the Throne of Thunder, a sprawling citadel with 12 intense encounters. Lei Shen, the Thunder King, has returned from the dead to wreak havoc on Pandaria, and it’s up to you to stop him. The raid includes both regular and Heroic modes, with the opportunity to face an additional 13th foe in Heroic.

Shado-Pan Assault will be your ally in this raid, offering Valor rewards and exclusive faction gear. Get ready for epic loot and significant reputation gains as you battle through the heart of the Thunder King’s stronghold!

New Zone: Isle of Giants

A mysterious new island has appeared in the mists of Pandaria—the Isle of Giants! This area is home to massive devilsaurs, direhorns, and skyscreamers. Players who venture to the island will have the chance to tame these beasts, collect bones, and earn new pets and mounts. Hunters can even find the Ancient Tome of Dinomancy to tame their own Direhorn!

Legendary Questline Continues

Wrathion’s quest to uncover the secrets behind the Mogu power continues in this patch. Heroes will explore the depths of the Thunder King’s palace, facing trials and earning the Crown of Heaven—a powerful new legendary metagem.

For players looking to re-acquire previous Legendary rewards (such as gems for Sha-touched weapons), speak with the Blacktalon Quartermaster located in the Tavern in the Mists.

Challenge Mode and Celestial Dungeons

Get ready to tackle Challenge Mode Dungeons with the new Platinum medal! A step above Gold, Platinum medals reward Valor points and exclusive items like Toys and Mounts. Plus, each dungeon now has unique Platinum toys that can only be used in Challenge Modes.

• Temple of Jade Serpent: Platinum Boots of Expeditious Retreat

• Stormstout Brewery: Platinum “Little Ale”

• Shado-Pan Monastery: Platinum Potion of Invisibility

Completing these challenges will also earn you Platinum Coins, a new currency for purchasing Transmog items, Mounts, and Tabards. And for the speedsters, Remarkable times will grant you unique Titles and Mounts, including the Reins of the Celestial Tiger and the Reins of the Black Kor’kron Proto-drake.

Celestial Mode Dungeons: Thunder King’s Wrath

In the Celestial Dungeons, players will face even greater challenges, with enemies gaining buffs like 35% increased damage and 125% increased health. The dungeons will also feature Lightning Traps and Thunderstorms, adding a dangerous new dynamic.

Each Celestial will also provide powerful blessings, allowing you to summon avatars with game-changing abilities. Whether it’s Blazing Song for all allies or Jadefire to amplify magic damage, these blessings will help you survive the fierce trials ahead.

Class Changes and More

With new content comes class adjustments! Expect a variety of updates across multiple classes, including Death Knight, Druid, Hunter, Mage, Paladin, Priest, Shaman, and Warrior.

Key changes include:

• Blood Death Knights will see improvements to Vengeance scaling, enhancing tank survivability.

• Druid's Balance and Feral specs will see damage changes, while Restoration Druids get an increase to Spirit regeneration.

• Warlocks see damage reductions, with Affliction and Demonology abilities tweaked for balance.
