There are players throwing 4 rare bows into the Mystic Forge. The attraction of this mystical gamble paying off is fantasy and irrational. You should save GW2 gold for the precursor you want and buying it rather than cross your fingers. As a small sample size, I have spent about 1 thousand rare weapons into the Mystic Forge and never got a single precursor.
Don’t Grind Tier 6 Materials
I know many players want to make legendary weapons and consider they farm certain areas or monsters for the Tier 6 materials. This method is ridiculously and inefficient time consuming. The drop rates on Tier 6 materials are definitely tiny. It is quite simpler to buy all the Tier 6 materials you need if you can afford it with GW2 gold. You can buy the materials at a good rate and far more quicker than simply grinding them.
Make Your Money
Earning GW2 Gold in Guild Wars 2 is quite easy. No mater you flip items on the trading post or run dungeons, they can provide a wealth of earning potential.
