New Race, Jobs and Items in FFXIV Heavensward Expansion

The FFXIV Heavensward reveals the details on jobs, a new race and raid including in the Heavensward Expansion to FFXIV: A Realm Reborn at its Fan Festival in Tokyo.

There are two jobs added in Heavensward. One is Machinist which is a ranged DPS class that can deal damage with a large firearm and mechanical turrets she or he can deploy. The other is Astrologian which is a healer class that can use the power of the stars to cast supporting and healing magics.

A new Race called Au Ra is added to Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward. This race comes from the continent of Othard and didn't appear in any previous FF games. Their patches of scales on their skin and long tails can be customized as their curved horns.

There is a new endgame raid which take place in an abandoned mechanical fortress called Alexander, where goblins have summoned a primal essence. Players can choose to tackle it in either Hard or Normal mode.

Also, Square Enix also announced the expansion will add a new musical theme feature by FF series composer and a collector's Edition featuring art, an art book, some special in-game items and a figurine of a dragon which plays a significant role in the story.

Now, the Heavensward expansion has been available. Hope all players can have fun in with this new version.
