Heart of thorns - How To Unlock Masteries in Guild Wars 2
With the release of Heart of Thorns, many players want to unlock this copy. This guide is a brief introduction of Heart of Thorns and how to unlock it and choose which Mastery players should unlock firstly.
Mastery is a new account based on progression system which ensure access to new skills, utility or areas of the game world. They are split between the new region and the core game: Maguuma Jungle. Players should complete the content and overcome different challenges to gain Mastery points that can be spent on when choose Masteries. Each Mastery ties to a particular objective which can be only acquired only once a month and only one Mastery Track can be active at one time. As note above, only mastery tracked is completed, can your character get the reward with new abilities get unlocked.
1.Learn the languages of the civilizations of the jungle, earn their trust, challenge their champions, unlock secret locations and learn new combat techniques.
2. Unlock achievements in Fractals of the Mists, fractal challenge modes, more powerful infusions and instance-specific buff items.
3. Unlock collections to get legendary weapon precursors with collections for each weapon or you can use Guild Wars 2 gold to buy these weapons.
4.Learn to use various mushrooms in the jungle to bounce to higher places or learn hang gliding to soar through the air instead of falling, run faster or recharge your skills
5. Unlock Mentoring Badge for your characters and gain speed boost in cities and bonuses for crafting, revive and pick up loot

Leveling Masteries
When active, killing enemies, completing events or undertaking a personal story in the Maguuma Jungle, you can get exp from Mastery Track which can be seen by holding your cursor over it or at the bottom of the screen bar. The fastest way to maximize the early Mastery Tracks is through the personal story, which is super funny, too. Just go to the Silver Wastes and follow it into the Verdant Brink.Finally and because this is a question I've already been asked lots, I'd recommend you upgrade the following first:
1. Glider Basics
2. Bouncing Mushrooms
3. Updraft Use
There three give you direct access to the most of the canopy and allow you to reach the Mastery points and Hero points. I am kindly remind you equip as many xp booster as you can!
