FIFA 21 ratings- the best players in FIFA 21
EA Sports have released the top 100 highest-rated players ratings for FIFA 21, featuring Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, Kevin De Bruyne and more. As usual, the updated grades have made waves among both gamers and the players themselves.
So let's see those top players in FIFA 21 now.
Barcelona forward Lionel Messi rated as the best player on FIFA 21. Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo, Bayern Munich striker Robert Lewandowski, Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne and Paris Saint-Germain superstar Neymar complete the top five.
1. Lionel Messi, Barcelona (93)
Take Lionel Messi, who's been the biggest talking point of the break after he expressed his desire to leave Barcelona after over 20 years at the club, and then had to row back when it became clear nobody would be paying a 700 million euro release clause. But understandably after a season without European success, and with his age in mind, he's slipped a point to 93 overall. Whether the fact his rating has decreased by a single point since last year is down to his club's barren campaign or an overall decline in his abilities, only time will tell. But he's still top because he remains the best player in the world, and probably ever.
2. Cristiano Ronaldo, Piemonte Calcio (92)
Ronaldo must once again make do with the second place having failed to usurp his nemesis for the past three years, and he also slips a point.
3. Robert Lewandowski, Bayern Munich (91)
Unsurprisingly, given he's coming off the back of a Treble-winning 55-goal season, Lewy is the best out-and-out striker in the game. Such a shame he picked the year that the Ballon d'Or was canceled to hit such heights.
4. Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City (91)
Kevin Du Bruyne has just been named Player's Player of the Year in the Premier League, and French starlet, Kylian Mbappé—the now-90-rated player is one of the game's cover stars, but he'll still be reeling from PSG's defeat in the Champions League final against Bayern Munich.
5. Neymar Jr, Paris Saint-Germain (91)
A single rating point now separates Neymar from his PSG teammate Mbappe, with the gap closing from three points in FIFA 20. Could be a sign of an imminent changing of the guard.
Except for the top 5, there are some major upgrades for some players in the top 100 this year, with PSG's Kylian Mbappe, and Liverpool forward Sadio Mane all getting upgraded base cards in FUT 21, after outstanding individual campaigns in 2019.
8. Kylian Mbappé, Paris Saint-Germain (90)
Mbappe has seen his mercurial career progression mirrored by a huge leap from 11th in the FIFA 20 rankings to eighth this year, though his overall rating has only been bumped up by one point, from 89 to 90.
10. Sadio Mané, Liverpool (90)
A new face in the Top 10, Mane's integral role in Liverpool's historic title-winning campaign has seen him leap up from 28th in last year's FIFA ratings thanks to a massive stat boost.
