FFXIV Event: "Be My Valentione" Creative Writing Contest

FFXIV in the spirit of Valentione's Day, the Community Team would like to challenge you to share the secrets of your heart by writing your favorite NPC a love letter. Whether your love is a riveting romance or purely platonic, put your skills as a wordsmith to the test and express your affections.


Valentione's Day Requirements
Write a love letter to your favorite NPC from the perspective of your player character.

Time
February 5, 2018 at 12:01 a.m. (Pacific Time) to February 16, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. (Pacific Time)

The following information in your submission:
Your creative writing entry in letter format, no shorter than 100 words and a maximum of 300 words.
Your character’s name and World.
Your selection from the available in-game prizes.

Creating and submitting your entry:
One entry per person. If multiple entries containing the same character are posted, only the first entry will be accepted.
Entries cannot be edited after submission.
Entries must be your own written work. Any plagiarized content will be disqualified.
You must read, agree to, and comply with the Official Rules.
How to Enter
Once you are ready to enter, submit your Love Letter in the official entry thread on the forum.

Winner Selection
The FINAL FANTASY XIV Community Team will select 30 winners based on creativity, humor, originality, and overall execution according to the criteria listed above.

The 30 winners will each receive one in-game item of his/her choice of the items below:
Scarf of Wondrous Wit
Ahriman Choker
Mandragora Choker
Bluebird Earring
Noble Barding
