FFXIV 4.1 Patch Notes And Known Issues
FFXIVPatch 4.1 brings a multitude of additions and refinements to the realm. Band together with your friends in search of the legendary land of Ivalice, explore the ancient city of Skalla, or face an old foe in a reimagining of your battle with the legendary dragon Shinryu.
Patch 4.1 contains content that can only be accessed by registering the expansion packs for FINAL FANTASY XIV to your service account. To distinguish between adjustments that are and are not affected by the registration of these expansions, the following notations will be used throughout the patch notes:
These additions and adjustments only require the purchase of FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn.These additions and adjustments require the purchase and registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Heavensward.These additions and adjustments require the purchase and registration of FINAL FANTASY XIV: Stormblood.
These additions and adjustments contain elements that may require the purchase and registration of the expansion packs noted above.
Known Issues
An issue wherein the loading screen may not appear properly upon login.
*The “Sever Busy Mode” which reduces the congestion to process the login smoothly was creating issues which resulted in the loading screen not appearing correctly.
The issue is with appearance only, and the login is processed as normal.
An issue wherein the “ESC key” may not disengage targeting when setting the “Display Target Info Independently” from the HUD layout.
An issue wherein private chambers may not be accessible when relocating your Free Company estate.
