Blade &Soul : Gem Insert System
In Blade & Soul, players can enhance weapons with gems they get in the game.
Open bag interface, and you can insert gem any time by selecting an option on the top. When gem is inserted to the weapon, it becomes effective. How many open sockets a weapon has differs from one to four, which is up t the level of the weapon.
There are different types of gems. In total, there are 8 types of gems. For instance, pearl is higher level and crystal is lower level. The higher level the gem is, the higher power it adds to the weapon. For example, when inserted with a pearl, the weapon becomes more powerful than the one inserted with a crystal.
The higher level the gem is the higher value it will add to the equipment. When inserted with a pearl, the weapon is more powerful than the one inserted with a crystal. The gems are color coded. Different color means different ability. You can choose different color dependent on your needs.
It is kindly remind you when a gem is inserted, it can’t be removed. However, it can be covered with a new one. So if you want to replace a gem, just insert a new gem and the original one will automatically disappear.

1. Press I to open bag. Click on the gem button on the right top side.
2. Drag the weapon (with empty gem sockets) you want to insert with gems to the left side of the gem page
3. Drag the gem you want to insert to the empty socket
4. Press apply button and done.
